I can't seem to find the Crumpler budgie smuggler black/dark grey anywhere. Everywhere I checked, it's sold out.

Good luck trying to find one in black. No one seems to have them in stock in black as well as some other colors. Not even the Crumpler retail stores in NYC. It basically has been or is on the verge of being discontinued. The new 2005 line of Crumpler bags should be available in about a week.

How much bigger is the 15 Love compared to the budgie smuggler? Does anyone have any pics?

Anyone without a Crumpler should just admit they are no good and sell all of their gear.

I got a Talle instead.

what made you go with the talle instead of the smuggler or 15 love?
I may wait for the new line, but I hear you loose the 'secret compartment' which I think is sorta useful for organizing,
Anyone have the 15 Love- is it to big?

I got the 15 Love yesterday.
My 20D with attached 24-70 goes on top.
My 70-200 IS goes along the inside of the secret compartment (all bunions removed)
There is not much space left.

Do you like it and also where did you order from?
Would you prefer not to have the secret compartment?

It was either the Talle or the 15 Love and I chose the Talle in the end. I Couldn't make up my mind. I could only find pictures of the Talle with the equipment inside and I saw how good everything fit.
Anyone else has the Talle and loves it?

FYI, CalumetPhoto has the Budgie Smuggler in black, in stock, I just ordered one, just in case anyone else is still looking for one.

Does anyone use this bag for their 20D? One of the links posted above had info and the guy said it was too small for his 300D. Yet by the looks of it, the 300D should have fit.
I'd like to pick this bag up, but obviously not if it doesn't fit my gear.

I have a Steamer, which is a bit older than the smuggler, but about the same size. It was just perfect when I had a 300D with 18-55 kit lens and 50 mm f/1.4, as it also allwed me to carry a spare battery, two extra CF cards, a Circular Polarizer, and a lens cleaning cloth.
I'm selling it now, as the lenses I use most often are a bit too big. But here's my post in the Marketplace:

And here are some pics, including one with the 20D (with 50mm f/1.4 attached):

If anyone is interested in a small Crumpler bag in black with blue trim, let me know.

I returned my 15 love for a company embarassment. It now takes the following with space to spare:
20D with attached 24-70 f2.8L
70-200 f2.8L IS
Both lens hoods
580EX
TC-80N3
2x II extender
Spare battery and charger

Mine fits a 300D, 85 1.8 with hood, and a 17-40 with its huge hood. Either lens can be mounted and there is room to spare. Someone who couldn't get a 300D into a budgie smuggler is doing something wrong. The 20D is not too much bigger than the 300D you should have no problem. I doubt it would fit well with a battery pack on though.

I carry a 20d, 85 f/1.8, Tamron 28-75 and 550ex flash in my Budgie Smuggler and still have room for extra batteries and compactflash cards etc.

No responses, so it looks like no-one else got it. I'm afraid I just couldn't bring myself to go into a shop and ask for a "budgie smuggler" without giggling. :o
