Got my ST-E2 Controller today. WOW, what a difference it makes. I still have no clue how to max flash, I just put the flash on top of the little photo tank, put the fish in, and viola, a few quick shots, I am sure I can do better

14 pics total, the rest are HERE (http://aquatic-photography.com/pics/gallery/index2.html)

This one was NOT in the photo tank :) It's actually bigger than the photo tank :)

Some good experiments - nice gear you have.

I'd love to give it a try. Black background. Bright yellow/gold fish. Swap the pebbles for emeralds, rubies, saphires, etc, all prime colours. Light in the gems/fake gems would look soft in the water, but maybe a real nice too. Sunken treasure fantasies...

BTW, in the STE2 instructions does it cover this---

If I have a STE2 setup on my EOS and there are other photographers with EOS cameras with EX flashes (say a media scrum at a press conference) will my pulse set off other people's flashes? Why not?

do you own an aquarium shot??
I had to buy fish to photograph them
1/3200 100ISO how far away was that flash? It looks very naturally lighted

Woah, isn't that the wireless flash unit? So that you can like, place the flash on a stand where ever you want, move around with the camera and get a cool angle and stuff? Looks like an awesome piece of equiptment. How do ya like it?

Great shots by the way. Very clear. I like them.
