Another Beginner

i like it a lot, though the composition could've been better...
you see, the light falls mostly on his santa hat, maybe just a lil' bit lower would have been perfect
also more of the face could've been revealed

I like the idea, the light and the colors match it, match the atmosphere, good job :)

I actually like the way the lights falls my only criticism would be the feathers in the background are slightly distracting. Nothing that an evening with Photoshop couldn't fix.

I like this shot, and I think like the light... but the bacground and surroundings are way too busy, get rid of the shadows, and the objects in the back, they are even more distracting thatn the feathers... also the lamp itself is very poorly placed, whenever you take pictures you should always avoid things intersecting with your main subject, in this case it looks like the lamp is growing out of the girls head... any way most of this can be fixed with PS, give it a try and it will give you an idea of what your shot could have been if you paid a bit more attention to detail... keep on shooting and have fun

Wow thanks for the fix and comments. This was really kind of a candid shot, I was actually playing with the camera taking pictures of flowers and stuff.

I'll make note of the light placement and try to put myself in a better position next time around.
