Pic i took this weekend while exploring the Butterfly Center in Houston. Lots of great photo ops, here is first pic I took of the day.

Nice flick...I would have used a higher shutter speed to freeze the movement. Good stuff.

Actually I think that a longer shutter speed gives the waterfall the motion it needs. Although a shorter shutterspeed would have definitely helped to sharpen the image.

Still I wish I was there right now, the temp here dropped 40+ degrees in the last 24 hrs. :shock:

Thanks for the compliments, i agree totally different effects with shutterspeed, wish i had thought enough at the moment to set it up for both and see what would become of it, something to do next time around.

I think you're caught in the middle of a really good picture here...It is almost sharp, yet not blurry enough to create that nice milky effect. It is a great place to take photos...good luck getting back there and trying out what you learn here...
