Flowers and the Sea

Here is a landscape shot in b/w. I have a strong interest in taking b/w. I would love any critique on how to improve.

I don't mind the blown out sky but the water needs to be darker, dark enough to where you can see the waves, ripples texture etc. Just my opinion.

I agree, the sky is one thing (and is okay at times to have "blown out"), but the water is also really overexposed here.
