Our Campus Swan

There are usually geese that plague our campus (Rose-Hulman in Indiana) pond every spring,
but this year we have a resident swan that shows up from time to time.
It even chases the geese away sometimes.
It didn't scare easily so i got pretty much right in its face for 30 minutes shooting away.
This was my favorite one; it's a crop from my drebel and ef100-300:

I really like the way a water droplet formed a ring and the next one is on its way down to do the same thing.

Is there a way to brighten this photo in post processing?
