OK. OK. I'm now going to show that I'm completely brain dead on this subject, surly no one is actually taking a picture in the second shot. To get the rotation of the wheels with someone pushing the car surly you would need a really slow shutter speed, but if that was the case then you must have been shooting through less than a pin hole to stop the white of the car blowing out. Is it a combination of many shots or am I just not thinking outside the box (again!).

^ ND filter? To get a slower shutter speed?

ND Filter? surly it would need to be near solid black to get that with someone other than superman pushing the car.

yes an ND filter is used for day time rig shots. I use a 3-stop ND filter with a CPL filter for reflection 99% of the time and 6-stop when its abosolutely needed, which is rare.. I usually dont use them in sunset evenings tho, as they are not needed.
This shot is actually 3 shots composited.
1. Main shot
2. Headlights - shot seperately for proper exposure, or they would bleed into the paint when using a slow shutter
3. Sky was shot on a different day/time/date.
All shots where then merged in post.
