Any advice? I shot this at 1/125 and he was only going 30ish mph. How the heck do you aces do it with cars going over 100plus mph? Let me guess, get the credit card out again? Work with me here, I'm on a limited budget.
Digital Rebel, kit lens. Not that it's any good, but I'm actually pleasantly surprised that it turned out as well as it did for a first attempt. ;)

looks fine to me - a little grainy perhaps - but the techniques good
how do photographer pan at 100 mph - in a word - practice

good shot. imo, a bit better would be to lower the iso to 100/200 and if you got it on your drebel, shoot in aiservo mode, focusing on the helmet.
