Three flash setup question with canon (2) 580ex 2 and (1) 430ex .With the transmitter on A the receiver on B if I had another flash on C but WITHOUT a receiver mounted. Would C still get signals through regular/standard transmission from the master? or would I have to have another popper receiver mounted to it.

The third unit will still communicate with the master if there is line of sight. This is why IR facing is covered with the Popper units. The P1 receiver requires a piece of tape over the fiber optic. The PX receiver actually is placed over the IR facing. (with a tape mask applied as well) This is to assure it does not pickup anything from the master other than through the Popper.
So if you have a third unit and it is in line of sight with the master it will communcate with the master. The Popper will not interfer.

I haven't found anyone who has tested this, and it seems possible that there could be a problem with different timings, especially when using HSS with fast shutter speeds.
