i'll be going to niagara falls this weekend and I was hoping someone could give me some advice about where to stand to get great shots of the falls without getting my camera gear all wet....
Thanks in advance

Have a search on flickr, and you will be able to quickly figure out the best places to stand (options can be kind of limited). The direction of the wind will have a big impact on your choices, because some days the mist prevents you from getting anywhere near the falls.

Pick up some Optech Rainsleeves. Less than $10 for a two pack. I used them last year at Niagra Falls, and they kept the equipment dry. I, on the other hand, was soaked ;)

rainsleeves are must if you want to get up close. I'm planning a trip up to Niagra in the next month or two so please post up your results and what you did.
I can't wait to see what you get.

I stood along the main road on the Canadian side and got some decent shots. It was nice and dry up there too.

Here's some from the area by the canadian falls side.
Pictures were taken around 12 AM.
This was taken in complete dark, except the walk way lights.
I got there at 11:56PM, and right when I set up my camera, they shut off the lights to the falls... It wasn't even 12 AM yet!!!
