I recently took this 3 shot image after a thunderstorm blew thru. I thought it turned out pretty well, but I would like to know what you guys think.

Your photo looks quite nice and the process looks good. The only thing that catches my eye is the tree on the left edge distracts a little. Might try it with it cropped out. You wouldn't loose much of the Photo

I agree with the crop... at first I thought that it would help frame the waterfall, but when I went and cropped it, it looked much better.

Also, There is a slight haze over the image and there really aren't any pure blacks. I adjust the curves and things really started to pop. I didn't post it here because your profile doesn't mention that image editing is ok.

Also, there is some darkish spot up in the trees in the top left that is killing the sky. Even if it is an overcast day, you could fix it with exposure blending so that your sky's color tone matches evenly across the image.

Love the long exposure and how it softened up the water. Overall, this is an excellent first HDR attempt!

Very nice but I do agree with the above cc's; with a crop and by adding a little more pp you could really have something there.

Anvilimage,

I changed my profile settings. I would love to see the reworked photo. I am going to play around with it to see if I can get the desired results. Thanks for the comments, keep them coming.

Here ya go... this was a two minute quicky that I just did. I couldn't fix the sky, of course, because I don't have all of the exposures.
