The PP in number two is very distracting. Other than that my favorite is number three.

In fact, there is no major PP done in the second picture: some level and dodging/burning to make the dog 'pop' a bit more (I'm not very satisfied to the result.)

If you refer to the background, that's how it was. Sun was warming the sea (http://www.seaford.k12.de.us/es/jwhite/Weather/studentguide/lesson8.gif), hot air rising and creating convection cells (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convection_cell) which where diffracting light unevenly creating these 'wavy forms' or heat shimmer (http://books.google.fi/books?id=iMm8bkTuB28C&pg=PA272&lpg=PA272&dq) (we must have a meteorogist here who can explane this correctly ;)).

I never heard of these doggies before. From the look of them I'm undecided whether I should pet them or eat them!
