Hey everyone,
I have a new born shoot tomorrow for my new nephew!
Check out my blog to read a little about him and see photos if your interested.

Anyways I am prepared and have everything I need.
I'm good at shooting with a black background but have never shot with a white background.
I'm very fond of Carley Mac's work and here are a few shots of hers for an example of what I mean.

I will be shooting with an off shoe 580EXII on a light stand with umbrellas and reflectors.

Thanks for any help.

Scott

That's a big boy! Try clamshell or beauty setup with bg @ +1 to +1 1/2. Season to taste in post.

Yeah he is! And I never heard of clamshell and I looked it up. It looks pretty good, would it though be able to through the background pure white? And what exactly do you mean by "with bg @ +1 to +1 1/2?"

Thanks!

+1 to +1 1/2 exposure of background to get white without detail.
