Transportation Board?

I was wondering if there is any plans to create a "transportation" sharing board in the 'Photo Sharing' section (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=6). I'm just wondering because there doesn't seem like a place to share say, Trains, buses, cars, tractors, and anything else that moves that is a vehical.

Only place I know of to post them is in Sports which seems like an odd combo. So if you could consider making a Transportation board the next time you update the board I'm sure that it would be a valuable addition to Canon Digital Photography Forums.

I posted in another thread on this issue as well.....aviation photography is huge right now. A fast moving, anything with an engine photo sharing forum would get a lot of use (just my humble opinion)

It's coming, and I think we will see it fairly soon, but we're looking at other changes, too. Rather than doing it piecemeal, we want to think it all through and then do it all at one time. Changing the lineup of forums is a big job, and requires a fair amount of coordination between Pekka and the moderators to get threads moved once the change takes place.

I think it will be appreciated, and no rush of course. The forum is great the way it is, and will be even better with the changes you guys have in store, I'm sure. We appreciate all the work you guys do!!

Good idea.

The sports topics can move through so fast sometimes. A motorsport/aircraft/general car pics category would be cool, alongside the normal Sports, such as Rugby, Football, and Arm Wrestling. :rolleyes:
