Hello ... This is my first post to this forum. I have a 5D2 and a 420EX flash. The camera is an upgrade from an XTI. Since moving up to the 5D@, I've noticed that my flash pictures are flat and somewhat grainy - mainly when I use it for fill-in outdoors. Indoors, the flash pictures are good. It is just the outdoor pictures that are very poor - although they look great in the camera LCD.
The outdoor fill-in flash pictures lack clarity, depth, color saturation - just plain flat and grainy when viewed on the computer screen and when printed.
