Geetings all,
I have an opportunity to take part in a on-location urban portraiture class. The photographer who will be giving the class is a master but not from the area. I expressed interest in attending so he asked if I could reccomend a location or two that were gritty and non-touristy. A location where it wouldn't be too busy to be pushed on by police but some pedestrian traffic for subject matter.
A backup site in the event of rain could have cover but still be outdoors. If anyone is from the city and can suggest something I sure would look good. I wouldn't mind sticking in his memory.
thanks for any help,
Mike C

what day of the week? different areas will be busy during different times of the week.

the financial district is quiet on weekends.
restaurant row is quiet on Sunday.

all depends on when you are going.
