only by chance did i happen to drive past and see it was on , went on the saturday and just could not nail anything , focus was off , timing was off , and i was p!ssed off as well :eek: , anyway went back sunday and all seemed to click , first time i have had a chance at any sort of action shots since i got the camera !!! , all shot with the 1000D and 70-300 IS USM , minmial post processing , mainly brightening and sharpening :)

Very nice shots there, I like them all very good action shots and even better since your first time :) Are you uploading anymore to your flickr account

thanks :) , i have some more that need cropping a bit , i might do some more later ;)

edit - just realised you are from teesside , so am i , they were taken at stockton barrage last weekend :)

I was there but not taking any pictures though just helping out, I took some on the friday when they were doing the press shots but nothing impressive though just skis darting about the water.. You should join the cleveland camera club that is on flickr there is lots and lots of photographers in the area.

i will have a look at that , thanks , just noticed your link for july at the barrage , i reckon i will be there if the weather allows :D
