Never turned out good at all, way too much grain, but I like the colors. Shot from across the river after the sun set. Putting part of the sidewalk and the railing lights in the shot makes it different than most shots.

Comments welcome.

Interesting. But I would have to lose the railing lights, they are really distracting. Kind of like staring at a cars headlights. The background does have very nice color though. :-)

I agree. If you had stepped up to that railing and taken it, i would have loved it. The grain isn't beautiful, but not all that distracting either.

Ok, ok, here is one without the railing :)

Thanks for the comments.

I like both. But in my amateur opinion, the first pic with its railings provided a different perspective of scene/view... :) Maybe because it emphasized more on the railings...?

On image #2 the composition is off. It's heavily weight to the right.

#2 is much, much better. The colors are fantastic, especially the blue coming off the water. Great capture.

The image without the railing is much better, however, the best possible would be the image with the railing just without the lights.

If you find your images have a little too much grain use a program like NeatImage to clean them up.

I like better #2, but I also like the darker colors of #1. Can we have a mix of both ? :D

Thanks Hellashot, I seen that but wanted the bridge in the left side, sorry it is so unbalanced but that is the way they built Portland :)

I like better #2, but I also like the darker colors of #1. Can we have a mix of both ? :DThat would look good, but they were shot 2 different days, 2 different setups. Give it a try, put them together, let's see how it looks :)

Sorry to take so long replying, have been busy around here :(

I like #2.

BTW, fiddling 20 seconds with noiseware community edition got me the attached image.
Of course you will get better results when using it before resizing.

Best regards,
Andy
