Well I'm no good at self portraits, but I thought everyone else was posting theirs I'd give it a go.

Not sure about the second one. Comments welcome.

Interesting.

I like the first one.....kind of mysterious. It makes me want to "look inside" of your photo.

The second one I would like cropped w/ more of your face showing. It is frustrating somehow, to only see half your mouth.

Cool glasses!

I like the first one as well! It does tend to bring you in and want to look in your eyes. Do you have a studio set up? The background and lighting tend to make me think you have. Nice lighting!

I do have my own studio, I had lighting problems before but I got them fixed.

Thanks for the comments.

I dont like them. Does not draw any interest IMO.
I have seen some killer self portraits here. Maybe I am spoiled.
Newbie here... I prolly dont know what I am talking about so take it with a grain of salt..

I like them except you look so tense in the pictures. Like your eyes are going to pop out of your head cause you cant wait any longer for the shutter to go off.

I recently did some self portraits, I tried to look away from the camera and relax, if it goes off it goes off if it did it did. Seenings how your using a digital dont be so tense its not like you wasting film if its a bad picture.

But what you did does look pretty cool. I like the angles you took them at and they way your face lies within the frame of the picture.

good job

I agree, but I think the 1st one needs more contrast and is a lil bit underexposed to me. You have nice eyes.
