Hi everyone. Of the several forums I am a member of, this one by far has the most "People" posts where people actually look at your pictures and leave feedback. I think its wonderful. I am so glad I came across this forum. I don't share very often, half the time I think no one really cares. But I think this forum is different and I wanted to share. These are my "pick of the litter" of some pictures I took today of a 2 week old. We had a lot of fun. All feedback is welcome! :)

ADORABLE!!!! Looks great in B&W. Your title says photo shoot. . . .is this in a studio? If so, how is your set up?

Hi Mark, my "Lightsphere II" buddy. Sorry, my title is misleading. I actually took these in the home of the mom and the little one. I actually used a combination of natural light and the LSII on my 550EX, 20D using good ole 50mm 1.8. (It almost never leaves my camera) See what you have me doing? I have been practicing with it [LSII] all the time. I like the results. It gives a real "natural" look to the lighting. Thanks so much for the feedback!

What wass your camera settings for the first picture? Great job having the hand in it for size comparison. Wow they sure are small, but they grow up pretty fast. I'm sure he/she will treasure these for yeasr to come. Great job.

Thank you Michael. The first picture's settings were as follows:
50mm 1/50sec f/4.5 Exp: Av ISO 200 WB: Auto Flash: External E-TTL
The original was actually a tad dark, the baby was dark against the white background. There was a window behind him so I needed to pump up the flash a tad but didn't. Gotta love that PS magic! :)

I know, I love my 50mm! The only other lenses I have is the 20D kit lens, which I rarely use, and a Tamron 28-75. The Tamron is a GREAT lens too, but I really do find myself using the 50 most of the time. I would like to get more primes!
Oops, almost forgot...thanks for the feedback!
