I don't know much about it but I saw this flash made by Canon in a magazine the other day. It's compatible with the SD300 along with a bunch of other Canon P&S cameras.

B&H Photo/Video has the Canon slave made for it's cameras for about $110, and a really nice Metz for $130. They also have Vivitar and Phoenix slave type flashes.

Anyone has experience on the Vivitar DF120 Digital Slave Flash? Will it work for my SD300?

I have a DRebel and use the Vivitar DF200 with it, no problems. Probably utilizes the same circuitry, just that the DF200 had a tilt and swivel head. Bought it at B&H just a couple weeks ago.
