Learning curve

Hi,

it's been about 1.5 years since I got my first camera. In this gallery (http://azi.phicode.de/EOS/) are, what I believe to be, my best shots. I would like to know how much I have improved (if at all) and what I need to improve.

Azi, I quickly viewed the images in your online gallery. Its obvious you have a passion for photography and there are some really good images in there. It is a lot to take in . My advise would be to post a single image or two and ask for a critique. Folks here will be a lot more likely to respond to an image using that process.

I've often noticed those threads with a link to a gallery sometimes get very little activity. Providing C&C in a post with 1 or 2 images will yield better results. You can certainly repeat that in another posting with a different image or two.

I looked the site over Azi...and an overall rating is very good. I don't know how you have them ordered so I'll just give my opinion of what I see.

You are fairly artistic. I am not and as a result, I don't like artsy pictures. Your perspective of people is very good and you seem to capture the mood of the scene very well.

Your outdoors pictures are good and I suspect you see them in a different light than others. I suffer from the same problem. The sounds and wind in your face or salt spray always has an impact that others don't necessarily see in the image.

In any event...they are very good! Keep it up.

I don't know how you have them ordered
By filename. I didn't hit the 10.000-images mark yet, so they are ordered by date ;)
The most recent images are on top, my first shoots at the bottom.

So, did I improve over the last time?

Just added 8 new images, btw.

I hate to blow your high but I can't seem to see much difference in your early shots. But thats just me.
