Does anyone have experience with them?

I am already buying the extension tubes, are they worth to buy to use together with the tubes? i regain some working distance right? how about increased magnification?

ET+100mm macro gets me 2:1, what would i get with TC + ET + 100mm macro?

I can't figure why the 1.5x (http://www.thkphoto.com/products/kenko/slrc-03.html) is cheaper then the 1.4x (http://www.thkphoto.com/products/kenko/slrc-01.html), does anyone know why (i mean the diferences between them)?

thanks,

The 1.5x teleconverter is lower quality than the 1.4x.

You will gain some working distance for 1:1 macro but at the same min focus distance that you achieved 1:1 macro with the 100mm lens you will get 1.4:1 macro and with the 100mm lens with 68mm of extension tubes with the 1.4 teleconverter will get you around 2.4:1.

You will lose some quality in the image and some stops of light.
