Got a real camera for this trip to Ireland. I have a ton of ??'s for you all so get ready. Here is one shot I liked, tear it up so I can get better. Thanks!

The castle makes a great background, but I would have had someone leaning against the tree or some other focus other than the tree. Otherwise I would have made the castle my main focus.
No big deal, and I am WAY amature so take my advise for what it's worth (which is probably not a lot! :lol: ). Good experiment shot though!

I'm not sure that the Ivey should be the focal point of this picture, with so much more interesting subject matter at hand...Unless of course, you are hiding behind the tree to avoid being hit by arrows being shot from the castle ??

I think it would make a good picture if you could figure out how to get the foreground clearer...I have run across the same problem in some of my pictures like that...I'm sure it has something to do with your apeture setting but I'm the last person to ask about that...lol

the higher the apature number the more of the image that will be in focus in front of, and (usually) behind the subject.
