ok well i was playing with a 10-20 today and came up with this .... i liked it

but if anyone could give advice to how to make better then that would help

Maybe try about f/22 to keep your hand sharper as it would be if you were holding a model car.
A tripod & third hand to hold down the DOF Preview button would make it easier.

Remove anything from the background that might tend to give the car scale. Without the garage behind the car it will appear much smaller.

f22 and set lens at hyperfocal distance for max DOF.

Remove anything from the background that might tend to give the car scale. You might have missed the point? The car is in scale with the garage. It's the hand that's out of scale, which looks like the point to me?
