The "don't jump" picture is just amazing. It just looks like they're about to step off the edge.
Were you hanging around the bethesda fountain area?

Thanks. Yeah I thought that was interesting because as you know there are steps leading down. Yep, was hanging around that area...not too long. Just enough to snap a few.

Nice series Nick. I also like the Don't jump shot. Real sharp.

Thanks Julian!
Now that the weather is nicer, I am having fun just taking a stroll and shooting.
Late last year, I started to do this weekly. Then came Winter. Now I am back to my routine...try to get out there once a week for snaps and excercise!

Some nice shots, but people's backs are generally not particularly interesting. I like Reminders and Chamber Music.

I generally agree with you on the part about people's back. Usually people's expressions are more interesting and part of it is b/c I'm not relentless in getting in someone's grill. Working on that...still.
However I think the 2 shots I put up works better framed that way. The "Don't Jump" shot I though was interesting because you could not see the steps from that perspective and people taking that initial step looked like they were jumping off the edge.
On "three's a company"....I thought the pattern of 2 people per bench except the left most bench where there are 3 people, was an interesting one.
There's a time and place for everything...including facial shots and backside shots.;)

Thanks. Yeah...you see a lot of those guys just sitting around waiting for customers. I am sure business will pick up once Summer hits.
As for "filthy", it looked like a super exclusive place there...and thought the black bars added to the feeling of me, Mr. Middle Class looking from the outside in.:(
