Is it just me, or are there focus/DOF/softness issues of some kind? Composition is elegant. Cheers, Tony

I am not sure either it seems to be out of focus. It is very soft overall though. Maybe that was the desired effect.

Yes, I didn't want it to be in focus for this shot. It was meant meant to be a cliche tulip or flower shop but something different.

It definitely looks different. Was the intended focus the top of the bottom petal or was it the white material in the center of the Tulip?

I like it. We all tend to focus (pardon the pun) on getting tack sharp photos and sometimes forget that a photo is made up of more than detail....composition and creativity are also important.

It definitely looks different. Was the intended focus the top of the bottom petal or was it the white material in the center of the Tulip?

I believe it was the front top area but don't remember exactly, I used light room and made the image softer.

Yes I agree, actually from an artistic side I like working with soft photo's. There is a time for nice sharp images. In this case I liked the softness , just thought it added to the drama.
