What a stressful night, from a 3 hour drive each way and Toronto traffic to not being on the media list and getting that resolved 5 minutes before the show to feeling like I was in a cage match with 15 other photogs fighting for space to shoot on a 10 foot wide platform. I need to remember to wear 6 inch lifts next time as I am to short. Thankfully i had the entire show to shoot so i let the other news paper guys do there thing for the first three and just sat back till they were gone. And lastly and new camera body (50D)and an unformilliar lens (300mm 2.8 L) made things just a little more interesting. There is some 200 images on my site at http://www.z-photography.ca/img/v1/p775316514-4.jpg.

Some great stuff here. 5 and 6 are my favorites.

#2 and 7 for me. Some of the others are a bit too dark IMO.

I also like # 2 and 7. 7 being an excellent capture of Nils who is rather pale and washes out quite easily.

The set does seem a bit dark though. I often hand hold the 300 f/2.8 IS L at 1/100 because the IS is so good. Usually brightens things up a bit.

I really like #s 6 & 8.

As others have pointed out some of the others seem a little under exposed.
