Filters for Hawaii

Will be going to Hawaii in the near future and I wonder if anyone has some experience/recommendations on filters. UV and Polar, anything else?

I would recommend a Polarizer, GNDs, and NDs.....
but it really depends on what you are planning on taking pictures of.

Will be in Kauai for two weeks, know the island well, but it is my first time with my DSLR. Will be doing everything I can from the mountains to the sea.

After spending a few weeks there last year, I found that my CPL was WAY more of the help than the GND. Then again, I'm not much for smooth water, but the CPL helps heaps with the harsh Hawaiian sun.
