CF Card Folders

I am using a Sandisk Extreme 1V UDMA 4GB in my 50D, when i connect it to the card reader and it opens there is always an extra folder called, MISC by the side of DCIM folder. Can someone plesae tell me what this additional folder is for.

im not sure what that is but i have that too. would love to hear something about this.

It's used for housekeeping in file downloads via Canon's software (even if you don't use Canon's software). It's small though - don't worry about it.
