Just a quick few snaps.
There was a big line at the car wash and usable light was falling fast so only managed a couple of shots.
Might be a little under exposed, though I was after the dark look.
C&C welcome.

#1 looks good, but I could live without that much halo around it.

You can select an object & only apply changes to the selected area:

Second picture would have been much better if the car had the HID setup. but great none the less.

The halo is actually created using an off camera flash, not in PS.

As I only had one flash and was rapidly running out of available light, it was a struggle to get both the background and forground exposed properly.

I think I agree with you, but it was the first time I had tried this type of effect.

Thanks for the comments everyone, just to set the record straight it's not my car :( the HID's were removed when the car was imported as they are illegal here in Australia.

As I only had one flash and was rapidly running out of available light, First, expose for the light you have. Then adjust the flash to work with that. Finally, PP to get the effect that you need.
