Nice shots,
1. Great image. I really like the reflection in this one.
2. Wonderful capture of a very photogenic car. I would have liked to see the word Pontiac in focus though. i find it a little distracting that it is not. Although I do appreciate the DOF
3. Good capture but to be honest more than likely one of the most taken photos of this car. I would love to see a different angle on this one. The light is also very flat
4. Awesome image, I really like the light on it and the reflection of the tac on the hood. The Mirror( I think that is what it is on the bottom of the frame) is a little distracting. A higher angle would have allowed you to get more of the tac in the reflection and get the mirror out of the way but none the less this is a great picture.
5. This image does nothing for me. There seems to be a glare and the lighting is very flat. There ae also soem blown out spots on the image
6. Man I want one of these. The photo seems to have some camera shake and very flat light. Teh door of this image is also blown out.
7. Very nice and almost classic. I would clone out the bolt on the top. It is some what distracting. Also this doubles as a nice self portrait.
8. Neat comsept but I am not sure if I like the picture. The focus point seems to be on the right bar of the wheel and I feel like the photo could have benifited from a different angle and also a better focus point.
Most of these cars have water spots and dirt on them. It may be a good idea to take a soft towel and a spray bottle if it is a possibility.
If these are all from the same day them I would guess the sun was covered several times by clouds? If so you may be surprised at the benifits if waiting 2 minutes. It gives you time to really think about composition ( which you did a good job of) and you can also get better light in just a bit once the clouds move.
Great shots.

Thanks for the tips! These were all at the same show in the evening and there were a few clouds moving though. There were actually several other pictures that I took that I discarded because of some dirt in the pictures. I would have loved to clean some of them before taking these, but wasn't sure how the owners would feel about some stranger waxing there car...lol

Most people do not mind as long as you are not using anything that may hurt the car. Any one that wants to can come wash mine right now.:D Just always make sure you ask the owner first. These cars are just like babies to some people.

Most people do not mind as long as you are not using anything that may hurt the car. Don't even think about touching them around here. Some pay obscene amounts of money for the paint jobs.
I like 2 & 4, except for that weenie red line! ;)

More shots can be seen on my flickr, full car shots included
The Camaro was hard to get a clean shot of because it was always surrounded...lol
