Hi guys
I'm a newb to photography but a longtime fan of POTN. I've included some pics below that I captured two weeks ago. Go ahead .. rip 'em apart and critique.. look forward...

#1 - really like the framing that you choose to use and the colors and lighting works well on this one.

#2 - I wish the tip of the boat wasn't clipped off. With that part missing, my eyes lead right off the shot looking for it.

#3 - Is okay except for the bucket thing in the bottom right. Once again it is distracting.

#4 - Considering the lighting, most detail is lost in the actual subject.

On another note, welcome to POTN, keep shooting and remember to post some of your work here for help. It certainly has been helpful to me over time.

Many thanks! I didn't even notice the bucket in that picture! I agree with your comment on the pic of the surfer too. Will definitely post pics here. The quality of my pictures have vastly improved after using POTN.
