Common Grackle + fem. Red Winged Blackbird.

When I started bird photography less than 2 years ago that blackbird really threw me for a loop too. You should have Boat Tailed Grackles in your area as well, but I think their tails are usually fanned out. Nice shots.

i'm a few hours north of their typical range, so not a bird i get to see often.
