I had a wonderful time at the Theler Wetlands, in Belfair, WA today. Birds were moderately plentiful and the weather was awesome! All photos with the 20D, EF 70-200 F/4L and EF 1.4x II. ISO-200 to 800, F/5.6 to 8.

Could be a barn swallow? I think they have the rust bellies .. but I did not think it was that dark. Beautifull critters either way!

The Barn Swallow is the closest that I have been able to come up with. All of my referrences show them with rusty necks and white bellies, though . . .

A.J. how do you imprint your name and all on these pictures?

Thanks a lot to all of you. Your comments are greatly appreciated.

Bill, as for the signature/logo deally, here is what I did:

I created the logo using Adobe PS CS with the text tool, playing around until I acheived the desired look. I save this at 300 dpi, about 3-4 inches wide on a transperant BG and then when I post process a photo, I resize it by adjusting the dpi to the same as the image that I paste it onto. It is a layer that I then position to the corner where I want it and I can merge down or flatten. I actually have this step as part of my action to create the shadows and frame for when I am post processing a standard image size. This works well when batch processing as well. PM me if you wish to have additional assistance!
