New model?

Hey yall. what would you do??? I had a shoot friday night with a very atractive girl that i was happy to work with. The Photos were awesome, i really thought that i did a great job, even my wife was in awe..... well, the model wanted to see a couple of them, I gladly showed them to her and she said" These are way to provoctive, i would rather you didn't keep them! It's just not me..... yada yada" should i trash these??

NO! But you may need a model release to use them for anything.

Unless there is no model release. If no release you can keep for personal use. :)

I've just started shooting models and they have signed releases before starting.

I'm shooting in France so the models would think it strange that they didn't have to sign something 10 times before the shoot :D

For me, release is always signed before the shoot. No release, no shoot. Some people may think its a little harsh but if the shoot doesn't benefit me in the maximum way possible, than I'll just find another model.

It's like a contract that states what you can and cannot do with the photos basically.

Yep. No signed release, no shoot. It seems odd that during the shoot the model was not aware of how "provocative" the poses were until seeing the images.

i think her mom seen them and that sparked the issue...... no worries... there's plenty of models in the pool i guess...just gota sign a release first from now on..

Shes 20, you can see some of the pics at another post of mine... I would link it... but not sure how? ;) I know i'm no superstar photographer, but i thought for a newbie to photography they were good..... these are the ones that were ok by here btw.

That's why I ask..if the girl were younger then I could see why her mom would have any say in it..but she's 20 so...to hell with what her mom says, that's between her and her mom :lol:

I wouldn't trash them, but clearly she has no use for them. I would ask to re-shoot in a fashion that is more to her liking. It's best to make her as happy as you can without extending yourself too far. Your wife will tell you how far is too far.....;)
