hey C&C welcome as always. my 1st HDR try. i know the background isn't the most interesting the column placement sucks in the 2snd shot, but how do you guys like the technique? over or under done?

its a lightroom plug in called mogrify. i have it set up to put in the lens as well, but when i merged the exposures, the lens and shutter speeds got all messed up. the 1st pic is 4 exposures and the 2nd is 8 exposures, but you cant tell from the exif on here now.

^yea gotcha, i jsut wondered if it was a pre-programmed thing or if you had to put in each value yourself

anyway cool shots!

once you put in what you want on the 1st export it saves it form there. takes a few times to get the boarders how you want it but the text is cake.

I like both of them personally as I'm not a huge fan of overdone HDR and I think these too are about perfect amounts, atleast for my taste. Good Job.

Sick car, and while I love HDR - I don't really like the oversaturated HDR images. If you were to make sure everything was tone mapped correctly and scale back the saturation a bit, I think they'd come out really nicely.

The contrast looks OK, but there are way too many light reflections in it to make me happy with them.

Why isn't anyone asking how he got the floor to a covered parking garage wet?

^^^hmmmm, good question! Maybe they just finished sparaying down the pavement? Either way I love the pics. I actually don't mind refeltions to much to tell you the truth, really shows off the deep shine in the paint, but that is just me.

it had just finished raining for about 3-4 days straight in ny. this was from a local weekly bmw meet. you can see the water marks on the door and all the **** that got kicked up on the back of the wheel wells. i so hate the rain, its the evil nemesis of the clean car.

I think you hit the nail RIGHT on the head. These look great! Usually HDR makes me puke because it's so overdone, but these are JUST right. Cheers.

Really nice post processing on these, I just wish you didn't shoot the car in front of parking pillars.

I like the gritty shopping car but the light reflections and license plate is an eye soar.
