I really like the the HDR effect both the natural and fake effect. So here is my first go at it. I don't think I got a shot that was over exposed enough. What do you think?

Wife liked the under saturated look of this. Not me though...

remember photomatix or whatever program you used is just the first step, to get things better, "pop" you should bring the file into a graphics editor to do your final tweaks.

I don't know what work process you did. For me I use photomatix, than Adobe Camera Raw for adjustments and finally into photoshop where I can take advantage of layers, actions, plugins to get the look I want.

have you seen http://www.gettotallyrad.com/#rockin-photoshop-actions-7a1d9 these are really nice sets of actions, little spendy, but worth it. They save a lot of time and have great effects on pics.

Wow they are a little pricy but it would save some time.

I like 1 and 3, and in particular, I love what it did to those street lamps. :)
