The Drones @ the Gov

A poor set. I struggled at the Gov tonight, the lighting was poor and i had difficulty in capturing the band as a whole. These three were the best of a bad set. :(

2's the best by far. Gareth moves around a lot, so if you don't have flash you can be screwed if the light's poor. no love for Fiona? :D

#2 is great. The Drones (Gareth especially) can be a challenging band to shoot.

ha! thanks guys :) funny how i thought this set stunk, but i guess 02 is pretty decent, even though it's a tad hot.

narlus, to be honest with you, fiona (bass) was incredibly boring to watch. the rest of the band were totally throwing themselves around and getting geed up and she stood with her back to the crowd (what's with that?) for the entire show and barely moved. when she did turn to the crowd (for backing vocals) she looked like she really didn't want to be there at all.
