Took these on an outing this past week. The butterflies are so busy right now in early spring, its hard to get one to sit still long enough to get a picture.;) But that won't keep me from trying!!

Tell me about it. I saw a lot of gorgeous butterflies when hiking at Enchanted Rock, none of them would sit still like the dragon flies, spiders or bugs.

For great butterfly photos, have to find a butterfly garden, great opportunites, best one i have been to is at the Natural Science Museum in Houston, 2000 butterflys on 2 acres, plenty of opportunites, see some of my other post.

Very nice. I've yet to do any good anywhere except at the local butterfly pavillion! Great captures.
