Hey, shot these this weekend. Just looking for some C&C. Thanks a lot

1st of all welcome to POTN. and the sports section

1st one is over exposed and the second is under exposed... I dont know what your shutter speed was on the first one, but it was too slow.. usually with sports you need to try and keep the shutter speed 1/640th or faster.

One thing to know is to keep your backgrounds clean. Also make sure your photos show emotion or some sort of story.

The first one does show some sort of emotion but the photo is blurry and thus it doesnt help the photo..

Thanks alot... this is just the advice I was looking for. Hopefully I can get some better shots next time.
