Hey Gang,

My parents sprung on me last moment to take photos of my little brother at the Renaissance Fair.

It's not a paid photo shoot but they would like some printable photos.
My 24-105 will not be long enough for the fair, and since Lens Rentals is out of stock so I would like to borrow / rent a 70-200 from someone in So-Cal. I'd prefer a f/4 but a 2.8 works as well.

If you're willing to let me borrow your lens I'll let you hold on to my 24-105 and my 180mm as collateral or we may be able to work out a rental fee. I'd prefer free because it's not going to be making me any money, and I'm a starving college student at the moment.

The catch is that I need it by Friday. So if you can do this I can be reached via email at:

yalequanphotography@gmail.com

or at my home email:

yalequan@gmail.com

For references I've sold over $1,000 worth of gear here and on Pentax Forums.

Thank you,

-Yale

p.s. I'm local to Long Beach CA and would be willing to drive to meet someone.

You can rent from these places:

Local

Canoga Camera
Samy's (requires security deposit equal to value of equipment - in this case, $1600)

Nationwide

Lensrentals.com (highly recommend)
Borrowlenses.com (San Francisco area)

Bills camera on sprindale and warner has 3 70-200mm F2.8L IS for about $30 for the weekend and don't usually need a deposit for them. If you call them you can reserve one and it will be able to pick up Friday morning and needs to be back Monday before 1pm.

Thanks all for your help.

I borrowed a copy from one of my friends, but I'll keep all those options in mind.
