I'm currently looking into purchasing a new bag, to hold:
350D Gripped + Kit
Second Body
A Small Prime
70-200 F/4
Tripod on the Outside

And here is my wishlist of requirements:
Backpack
Water Resistant
Secure

Budget is around $150, but I'd like to keep it below that if possible.

Throw me your suggestions please :D

Check the Tamrac Expedition line, perhaps the 6X, though there are bigger and smaller. Very well made, very well padded shoulder straps. Definitely in your price range.

One member said these were the majority of the backpacks he saw in the bush while he was shooting. Only weak point is that the waistbelt could be thicker, though the one supplied is adequate.

Thanks for the response!

The 6X bag looks great, although from the product photos I see what you mean about the hip-belt. The 7X looks like it's padded much better, although it's out of my price range.

The Lowepro Vertex 300 AW has a much thicker waistbelt. I believe there is a 200, slightly smaller. Not sure of the price, but there are some members here who say the straps are very well padded. About the same volume and features of the Tamrac, but has a built-in waterproof cover.

Thanks for the second response!

The Amazon lists the bag at 249.99, which is out of my price range.

I think the 6X would be fine for you http://www.entertainment-place.info/smile/img/2465/o09a0208gstn/POTNsmile.gif

Thanks for the response LostShootingStar.

Space-wise, I don't at all disagree with you. The hiker in me just wants the nice padded hip belt :D
