Hey All

I shot a bunch of my daughters U9 soccer this season. I thought it might be nice to see if I can do a poster of the team/action shots and have it available to the parents. What are the best resources for templates and how difficult are they to do?

Thanks - Steve

Difficulty is based on your knowledge of photoshop or other photo editing programs. It also may be based on what you want to do with the poster.

1. Do you only want to add cropped photos with text etc?

2. Do you want to cut out images and add them to one background?

When I started out doing them, it took a lot of time to make one up. It has gotten easier with each one I do but it still takes time. Search YouTube for help. You can buy templates and just add your photos to them or make your own.

I use these templates:

Very simple to use, you can simply place the photo in the template and they look very nice. You can also take it a step further and cut-out the player and put that on the template. You can also change colors for the BG. I use them in PS Elements 5.0. I've learned a lot about gradients and layers using them, and will probably start making my own in the near future now that I have a better understanding of them.

Here are some that I did with cut-outs:

Here are some that I used for T&I's, more or less just putting the photos in and playing with the gradients:
