New camera, new format (I was a hardcore film girl, never was going to go digital!). It's been awhile, so i'm a bit rusty and dusty, how does this look?

If you are new to Digital you might not be familiar with ISO (just a guess)

Seems like you are using on-camera flash, which isnt the best choice unless:
1) You cant afford to miss the shot
2) You are happy with the relatively poor results the on-camera flash delivers

Depending on the lighting of the room, it might be worth it to bump up your ISO to 1600, and shoot without the flash. I can live with some noise, but not quite with ruining the shot with poor lighting provided by the on-camera flash.

the indoor lighting sucks here, i'm saving up for...something better :D
I'm working on remembering to play with my iso more, thankfully now I can take a billion shots to figure out what all those buttons do!

thanks!
