Nice shot, and it meets the criteria, but I find these more interesting with people or vehicles in them.

Another compliment here. That would be a great shot even without the TS effect.

Thank you, well I have a bunch more but only had my 18-55 on me so couldn't get many people or cars sadly. I know what you mean though.
Thanks Tiger!!!

King Kong, climbing one of the towers would have been cool too but oh well...that's life! :D
Great picture!
Really like the processing on this!
izthistaken, Can you explain a bit how this was achieved?
Cheers!

Nice picture, but to really try and make it feel more like a real T/S (which you'll never get due to the specular highlight rendering...which you really can't fake), you need to make the picture get significantly more blurry the further away from the focus plane. Notice how a real T/S renders a scene as it goes away from the focus plane. This is with the 24 TS-E at full tilt:

Perhaps doing a significant blur with a more graduated layer mask would help.

Thank you sir. This was my very first attempt so I will try and get better. Thanks for the tips!

No problem! I do think the shot is very good...and it's certainly a good candidate for faking the tilt look.

Thank you. Maybe I'll mess with it when I get home tonight and repost and you can let me know what you think the second time around? I'll try more blur. Hell if you want to do it, that's fine too.
