I have been interested in creating a small studio myself because many of my general shots and lighting just don’t come out very good, that’s why I signed up on the forum as I am having trouble getting good pictures from my camera.
I would like to hear more about the equipment you have in your studio and the set up as well as what you actually used on this shoot. ( I read your signature and see the equipment)
BTW the pictures look alright to me but I am not an expert or even good enough to be considered an amateur.

She's a doll! So much character!(:
(Disclaimer: I'm still learning myself. Take this w/a grain of salt!) :P Were you trying to go high-key w/these? If so, I would suggest moving her up/farther away from the background so that you don't get so much of a shadow on the 'drop. Then, for REALLY hk, add another light just for the 'drop. If not, the only suggestion I have would be to add a reflector camera left; just to brighten up the shadows a bit on the other side of her face.
Honestly, though, I think you did a good job on these. Like I said, I'm still trying to learn myself. That's just what I would do. #3 is MOST DEFINITELY my favorite, though! :D

if you have the room, pull her away from the background as much as you can. It will not only help remove the shadow she's casting, but it will also help hide any imperfections like creases or wrinkles in the backdrop.
