I'm having trouble taking close-up pictures of handcrafted ink pens that my husband makes. I'm using one of those " Samigon Internet Photo Studio kits" It has an upper and lower fluorescent bulb. The pics look nice but I can't pick up the high gloss on the pens. They look more like a satin finish. I've tried tilting the upper head so that it shines different ways but it doesn't help. I even tried two extra fluorescent bulbs with the light comming from each side, that did help a little, but not much. Any ideas as to what might help show the gloss? Thanks!

Thank You!Would using a material like white poster board work? And the same thing for the black? I think you might be right and I'll play around with it tonight and let you know how I did. I really appreciate the help, this was driving me nuts.

Bloo Dog, I'm not having much luck. It is a little better then it was, but still not as good as I'd like. I had the white poster board. I couldn't find anything to use for black. So tomorrow I'll see if I can buy it some place and try that. I'll let you know what happens.....thanks again!

Nobody tells me anything. :D I thought I issued a personal invitation to you to put some of your tupperware illustrations there! I guess I'd better put this in a PM, too. ;)

PhotosGuy, thank you for the link, I'll check it out.
Bloo Dog, just wanted to let you know I'm still working on it. I had company all weekend and we got an unexpected visit from ole man winter and he left behind about 14" of brand new snow in two days.
But I'll get back at it tomorrow, thanks again! :)
