Hello this may be the most entry level question there is but what is the easiest way to put a watermark or like a "Photography by" on it somewhere. I have Lightroom 2.0 and Photoshop CS3.

Create a new action in photoshop -
Window - Actions - New Action
-it will start recording, press stop when you're done, then you can batch apply it to whatever images you want.

You can also use the faststone bulk editing software to add your watermark.
It is a free program.

Which is just another reason to go PC.
Like others said, I just make a brush with my name and site url on it. When I am editing photos I save the full sized edited version and then I re size to a web friendly resolution (usually 640x480 or 800x600) and mark it with my brush logo. Then I save for web usually at 60 or 65 quality jpg. This keeps the files well under 100k for those with slower connections.
