Hi Guys - not sure if there's already a thread on this. but what is the major difference between the 2 versions?
i found a great deal local for 430EX but not sure if its worth to spend additional $150CAD for 430EX II..
Thanks!

"With exception of the 50D, these flashes project a visible red grid pattern (yielding both light and contrast) for the camera's AF to lock onto."
Um... what does the 50D do differently in this respect?
